Blanca Gomez Hill collection.

Consists chiefly of photocopies of materials relating to the Montes family of San Elizario, Texas, and the El Paso Salt War of the 1870s. Materials include correspondence between Elizario M. Montes and his uncle, Jesus Montes, who was a participant in the Salt War. Contains information about Octaviano Ambrosio Larrazolo, who was elected to the United States Senate from New Mexico in 1928; as well as about Pascual Orozco, who was active in the Mexican Revolution. Also included are two pamphlets on the Tarahumara Indians, an academic paper (by Blanca Gomez Hill?) concerning author Carlos Arniches, a pamphlet containing English and Spanish Christmas carols, and several photographs. Many of the materials are written in Spanish.

Octaviano Ambrosio Larrazolo (December 7, 1859 – April 7, 1930) was a Republican politician who served as the fourth governor of New Mexico and a United States senator.
